Vaalkrans Lodge is perfectly nestled in the heart of the Eastern Cape bush, to provide maximum privacy and tranquillity. This upmarket lodge was built in 2008, where there was no compromising on quality, style and comfort. Vaalkrans is built from a combination of stone and thatch to provide the ultimate African experience.

There are well manicured wooden walkways that lead to four luxorious units. Each unit has two on-suite bedrooms, and a lounge. The bathrooms are modern, and consist of a bath, shower and toilet. Each unit has a balcony that provides the perfect setting for relaxing after a good days hunting.

The central hub hosts a spectacular deck which has panoramic views. Brunches are often served from the comfort of the deck. Included in the entertainment hub are a large wooden dining table, a reading lounge, and a leather lounge with a flat screen TV.

The boma comprises of an undercover thatch bar and barbeque area, which flows onto a large open patio that has an open air fire place. This is where the star gazing and big hunting stories take place.

You will be treated to fine cuisine prepared in the traditional South African way.
