Situated in the heart of the Eastern Cape's prime hunting area, this concession is one of a kind. Bordering the great Fish river, where hippos still roam freely - the land is truly rugged, with steep stony hillsides and plenty bush.
Esperant is a waterbuck haven with extraordinary trophy quality. Also plentiful are kudu for which the terrain is ideal. Other species on this concession include gemsbuck, warthog, blue wildebees, impala, duiker, steenbuck, red hartebees, bontebok, mt reedbuck.
Accommodation is in a comfortable home-style lodge with all basic amenities needed. Nestled against the mountain, the lodge has rooms with en-suite bathrooms, large dining area, and a deck with barbecue facilities providing spectacular view of the hunting valleys and a great place to relax after a long day in the bush. Outside is a boma - where the star gazing and big hunting stories take place.
You will be treated to fine cuisine prepared in the traditional South African way with some of our great local wines.
