Matt Serbenski recently (22 July 2010)  arrived from Michigan, USA on a business trip to Port Elizabeth, and was fortunate enough to experience a brief hunt in the Eastern Cape, with Eastcape & Karoo Safaris.

Day 1 - 22 July 2010. We set out early in the morning to hunt impala and the illusive kudu. Matt shot this great impala at 285meters with a 30-06.

Day 1 finished with a few relaxing drinks at the Vaalkrans Lodge.

Day 2 - 23 July 2010. We set out before sunrise to be in position to glass various valleys for kudu with the rising sun. Rob and Matt at a valley.

Matt took this kudu at 283 meters. A difficult shot as the kudu was quartering away from us, while working its way through the dense bush in a deep valley.
