I invite you to experience the Eastern Cape on one of our professionally guided hunting safaris. The pristine beauty that surrounds the rugged mountains of Somerset East will remain in your thoughts for ever. The safari is based on the Kamala Game Reserve which is home to more than 28 species of animals.

The safari will include hunts from the rolling veldt plains to the thick mountainous bush.

We also offer Wing Shooting safaris. The following species can be targeted.

* Water Fowl
* Guinea Fowl
* Grey Wing Partridge
* English Ring Partridge
* Variety of Dove species

Somerset East hosts various forms of Fly-fishing, with the 3 main species being Rainbow Trout, Large mouth Bass and Yellow fish. These fresh water fish could be caught in very close proximity from each other. The dams and river utilised are all with in 20 minutes of Kamala Game Reserve. A qualified guide will accompany the angler. Transport is provided together with all the required tackle and equipment.

A PH or Guide will meet you at the Port Elizabeth airport, and you will be ably assisted from there to the Kamala Game Reserve near Somerset East, which is one and  a half hours drive from Port Elizabeth. You will be settled into an luxurious bush lodge, which will provide the feel of Africa, without forgoing the comfort that you are accustomed too.  


The Eastern Cape/Karoo  area is malaria and bilharzia free area, so no special heath precautions are necessary.

More than 28 species of game can be hunted on the Kamala Game Reserve, which means that there are no long uncomfortable daily trips.  The uniqueness and size of the reserve make each day a new experience.

We offer tailor made packages and various forms of hunting that will suit you and your hunting party. These could be in the form of hunting by walk and stalk, driven shoots, or by waiting at strategic points.
