Kamala Game reserve is situated in the Eastern Cape province
of South Africa. The Eastern Cape is in the south east bordered by the Indian
Ocean and Drakensberg Mountain Range in the north.
The closest major airport to Kamala is Port Elizabeth 1hr40min drive away. The
closest international airports are Johannesburg or Cape Town. There are regular
flights connecting these cities and chartered flights can be arranged to
Somerset East 14km from the reserve.
From Port Elizabeth take the N2 for 40km to Grahamstown, branch left onto the
N10 to Cradock.
Travel 100km, turn left to Somerset East for 25km joining the R63.
Continue through Somerset East for 15km on the Graaff Reinet road.
Turn right to Cradock and travel 300m to the Kamala / Sheercliff gate on the
right.
