Egill and Sarah visit Eastcape & Karoo Safaris from Denmark

September 19, 2016

Egill and Sarah from Denmark recently joined Eastcape & Karoo on a memorable safari. Egill was the winner of our 2016 annual competition.

This was their first hunting safari to South Africa. We hunted hard following our ethical hunting practice of walk and stalk and our efforts paid off.

Well done Egill on great shooting. We enjoyed hosting you and Sarah and look forward to seeing you in the near future.

All the best from the Eastcape & Karoo team.

“My wife and I visited Eastcape and Karoo safaris in September 2016, we lived on leopard ridge lodge, right in the middle of one of the hunting areas. The lodge were lovely, with a beautiful look over the river and mountain ridge. Just sitting on the porch we would see a lot of wildlife from zebra and bushbuck to all the beautiful birds and the otters in the river.

But that’s nothing compared to the high amount of animals we would see, driving around the area.

The food was really nice and the hosts; Nicki and Dale, could not have been any nicer and accommodating.

The PH, Dale, had both me and my wife out hunting and even though my wife doesn’t hunt herself, she enjoyed it a great deal.

Dale was able to get me in some very good situations, so in only three days I got to shoot wildebeest, impala, bleshbuck and bushbuck. All the animals were old and strong animals”
